For over 25 years, Jonathan Bernis, President of Jewish Voice Ministries International, has worked on the forefront of world evangelism. A Messianic Rabbi, Jonathan founded Shema Yisrael Messianic Congregation and later answered the call of God to take the Gospel to Russia. Jonathan saw hundreds of thousands respond to altar calls—half of them Jewish—in this land long held in the darkness of atheism. During his years in Russia, he planted many congregations and formed Messianic Jewish Bible Institutes that have spread throughout the world, training and equipping a new generation of Messianic Jewish leaders for the harvest.
