"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4

Fathers play a crucial part in their family. By biblical design, it is the man’s duty to lead their family. It is such an incredible responsibility and navigating such an important role is often difficult. Even with the challenges, being a father is worth it! 

Parenthood requires full effort, so go all in! Children crave your attention and approval.  Make time to invest into leading your family. We all know that life is busy. Take heart in knowing it is the quality of time that you can spend together, not the amount of time that matters! 

Be kind. Set a good example. Encourage your children by listening to what they have to say. Build them up instead of breaking them down. By keeping an open line of communication with your children, they will always feel comfortable coming to you. This is so important when they are facing hardships and need advice. 

Children view their dads as superman. God has given fathers a lot of power. Harness that power and be the Dad that God has instructed you to be.
