Last Sunday, Pastor started off the Christmas season by asking us, “What do you want for Christmas?” We are unsure what gifts we will get for Christmas, but we learned that we will get what we intentionally prepare to get out of the season. During some great and meaningful moments in the holiday season, some pressure-filled moments and schedules tend to be filled to overflowing. There are work functions, family functions, church functions, and multiple trips to the mall. For many, the season can become overwhelming and entirely different from the time of peace it is supposed to be. Christmas is just too special and valuable to let it develop on its own. As the season gets ready to kick off in a big way, let us affirm our priorities and decide to intentionally live this Christmas season in a way that would honor Jesus Christ.
Our study asked us to “Take Heed” and think about the very best way to live out this moment. When we look at how we can make the most of Christmas and what areas we need to focus on, we must:
Take Heed In Your Faith Life.
A. Bible Reading
B. Prayer
C. Church Attendance
D. Witness
F. Separation
Take Heed In Your Family Life.
Take Heed In Your Finances.

9/29/2024Do you ever wonder where God is and what He’s doing in your life? Are you bearing burdens and enduring trials that you do not understand? Has the path of your life led you into a valley? God’s Word gives us a beautiful and encouraging portrait of our relationship with Him. He calls us His sheep and Himself our Shepherd. He is a loving, gracious, and good Shepherd. Not one step of your life’s journey has escaped His loving guidance and protective care. Pastor Stephen Chappell explores the twenty-third Psalm with insight that will delight, strengthen, energize, and comfort every Christian. As you draw close to the Shepherd, get a fresh glimpse of His love and see His eternal plan; your life will never be the same!
